GHOST STORIES
The EIDOLON PROJECT is collecting accounts of genuine ghost stories for the possibility of publication. If you have a true event of the paranormal that you would like to share, we would love to hear from you. We would prefer stories from Alberta and Western Canada as this would enable our team to research, and should you so desire, conduct an investigation. We are not able to offer payment for your story, but would be willing to investigate your haunting free of charge. Your name and exact location of the occurrence will be kept in confidence should you so request (the location will be named if it is a public site).
So if you have heard unexplainable noises, encountered aromas that have no apparent source, or have seen something out of the corner of your eye that isn't there, you're not crazy...you might have a spirit visiting, Contact us, in confidence, and we can discuss your haunting at length.
Please be aware that the EIDOLON PROJECT will not accept any photos, videos or EVP recordings from outside parties for posting on our web site. Unfortunately, there are people who enjoy faking these and we are not a clearing house for pranksters. Material published on this site are from the files of the EIDOLON PROJECT.
INVESTIGATIONS
Do you have a site or residence that may be haunted? The EIDOLON PROJECT would love the opportunity to conduct an investigation. There is never a charge for our services. Your name and address will be kept in strictest confidence, and we'll put that in writing. Initials or pseudonym will be used if requested, and exact locations will be withheld. Research and processing members will only know you by an ID code. All EIDOLON PROJECT team members will sign a confidentiality form. We request that a member of the household be present during our investigation. We will conduct all affairs with utmost discretion. If you wish to have your site cleared (have the ghost sent to it's proper realm) we will help you to do so, as this is usually best for both the haunted and the spirit who has become trapped or lost on their journey. We do ask, however, that we be allowed to visit the site a few times prior so that we can attempt to gather evidence of the paranormal via an investigation. Details of how an investigation will gladly be discussed with you before we start any actions. Investigative teams will be kept small in number. Please contact us for any information or questions that you may have. contact eidolon project
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Bring out the detective in you!
The EIDOLON PROJECT needs a few open minded individuals to help us with research and processing our findings. Researchers are responsible for finding information on sites that we will investigate. This is done by going through newspaper microfilm and research in archives. This is perfect for those who may be retired and are looking for something to do. Processors will help to go over evidence such as photos, audio and video recordings. A sharp ear (it has been said that persons in their teens are better able to pick up spirit voices than others) and a keen eye are a must. Processors also need use of a computer with Windows or Nero (or equivalent) photo shops. Warning, this can be boring work, but can be done on your free time. Interested? Please contact us.
BAD TELEVISION
Andy Warhol was wrong. It appears that only normal people are entitled to their 15 minutes of fame...idiots seem to get all that they want, provided that it's on network television.
Viewer beware. Television programs, particularly "Paranormal Celebrity Project", is the kind of crap that belittles serious paranormal activity investigators. The only ghosts on this program are those of the dead careers of used to be "celebrities". Please, don't waste your time watching this...if the ratings are low, the network will pull the program.
In my personal opinion, and I'm certain that other investigators, researchers or anybody in their right mind will agree, that the "events" happening in this program are faked and contrived...taking paranormal research back to the Victorian era , when frauds and charlatans, being the unfortunate rule instead of the exception, destroyed much of the credibility of honest research for the sake of "entertainment" and/or profit. I'm certain that today's audience is more sophisticated and less gullible than those of a century ago. This program is one accident not even worth rubbernecking to get a glimpse of.
UP DATE: DECEMBER 19. 2007...
I have to add 'PARANORMAL STATE' to the programs not worth watching. The "investigators" on this show should go back to playing 'Dungeons and Dragons'. I personally find it difficult to believe that investigators this young can be "experts" on much more than applying Clearasil.
WHY IS IT THAT EVERY PARANORMAL PROGRAM IS ABOUT DEMONS, POLTERGIEST, AND MALEVOLIENT ENTITIES...WHAT IS THIS, "COPS" FOR THE SPIRIT WORLD?
